I thought my love for realism had died when I began to stylize my characters. Now, I find myself with the desire to merge the two in an effort to reconcile the world in my head with the reality that surrounds me. I think I like it.
The first two images of an ongoing series through which I intend on exploring the themes of innocence and the loss of innocence by the gaining of knowledge, as well as the ability to retain purity in the event of such a "loss".
I've been running out of steam and inspiration these days, and find myself creating the same thing over and over again. Hopefully a new project will be in the making soon though! Ideas are beginning to form. I'll keep ya posted.
